Sayur Lodeh {oil free}

I get amazed all the time by the vivid colours of the ingredients that we use to cook. And how after it all, the colours become muted and different from when we started. Take this blend of dried chillies, fresh chillies, onions and garlic, as soon as I poured them into the pot to sauté, the colors just keep calling out to me! Lovely, ain’t it? 😉 then look as I mixed in the Tumeric oh the pop of yellow! Just like a splash of paint.. except these are all edibles 🤣🤣🤣

Saute blended chillies, onions & garlic
Add tumeric powder
After adding 200ml coconut milk, 300ml water, cabbage, tomatoes and long beans. Add soy sauce, cumin, fish sauce, and some belacan to taste
Lastly I chopped up some tofu and added them into the pot, simmer until cooked, voila!♨️
